"Winter Magic" follows my previous "Autumn Magic" painting and it's part of my "Four Seasons" series. Seasons has inspired artists from every age and this is my contribution to this classical subject.
It features a blue winged fairy cuddling under the wing of a white dove. The bird has a little holly branch in her beak and more leaves decorates the background. I've chosen a majestic ornate golden color frame for this one, very fancy and it matches beautifully with the motif. This painting would add a real touch during this holiday season and it would look great on the wall all year long because of its classical look! I hope you enjoy!

"Thumbelina" AUCTION! New ORIGINAL fantasy acrylic painting signed Simona Candini up for auction on Ebay!

Hi Everybody!
I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving holiday!
I was very happy to have my sister visiting from Italy for the first time the last weeks and so we took her to see some cool stuff around here like Miami, Disneyworld  in Orlando and the Ringling Museum in Sarasota which I totally love! Time has flown by and I also really needed a little holiday for a change :)
I was still able to complete "Thumbelina" which is now available for purchase.
For this painting I gave the toad very bright colors (much brighter in person!) and a very fancy jacket because I wanted him to be a distinguished gentleman :) I like toads very much I think they are so cute! Since I live here in Florida I have seen many little colorful toads and frogs in my backyard. One time I had a little one jumping into the car and I had to reach under the seat to get it out, silly toad!

My Snow Queen is a warm hearted Queen. Sometimes you can see her appear surrounded by a ray of light, in a cold sunny winter morning, in company of her little white fox.

Original "Steampumpkin" Steampunk Halloween Painting by Simona Candini

Hi! This year I decided to make a painting for Halloween, but this would look great on the wall all year long! ;)

"Steampumpkin" is made with
acrylics, pencils and ink on paper
It measures 8"x10"
but the paper measures 8.5"x11" so it's very easy
to mat and frame it with a bigger frame or also size it down a little and frame it with an 8"x10" frame.

"Steampumpkin" is a painting with a "vintage" feeling, a Halloween theme and a steampunk twist. I really enjoyed making it, a real treat!
I hope I'll find the time to create some postcards and other products on my Zazzle store in time for Halloween, so I'll keep the blog updated with my new releases, stay tuned ;)

All my prints are printed professionally by a photo studio and are stretched and ready to hang. They have a nice black thick edge gallery style. I hand embellish each canvas with the same acrylic colors I use for my originals, then I varnish them with multiple coats of glossy varnish that protects them from dust, scratches, UV rays and make the surface water resistant. They are truly beautiful and look like originals! The edition is limited to 25 peaces for each painting. Each piece comes titled, signed, dated and numbered by me.

 I'm Simona Candini and this bookmark is handmade with love and care by me and the image that you see is made from my own original painting.

The picture is printed on photo paper and it's sharp and bright, much better in person!
I have placed the image in a heavy vinyl sleeve adorned with a satin tassel (color may vary). I've also added a cute printed backing to the picture to make it nice and thick.

The sleeve size is about 8 3/4"x2 1/4"
The picture inside is about 7"x2"
